These were edited by E. W. Badger & W. J. Harrison, concerned with natural history as well as philosophical and archaeological societies and field clubs. With a list of contributors and careful Index. Illustrated with woodcuts and in text and thirteen full page plates to vol. I; eight to vol. II. Collated, complete. Bound in are also three of the Annual Report and List of Members of the Birmingham Natural History and Microscopical Society for the years 1877 to 1879, with addresses of the retiring presidents Mr Lawson Tait in 1877 and Edmund Tonks in 1878. CONDITION Rebound in half calf over marbled boards. Externally sound with minor shelf wear, rubbed to spine and extremities. Previous owner's stamp to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to odd leaf only, pages otherwise generally bright and clean. Overall Condition: Good GLOSSARY OF TERMS Overall Condition (Dustwrapper condition rating is shown after that for the book itself, where a dustwrapper is present) Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear Very Good Indeed - Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy Very Good - Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy Good - Meaning not very good.
