This is a good clean volume of 'Greek Art on Greek Soil', by James M Hoppin, published as a 1st edition in 1897. The book is in very good clean clean condition throughout with just light foxing to the title page from the frontispiece tissue guard. There is some expected age-related darkening to the spine and a 'shadow to the top of the front cover, please see detailed photos. The book details the changes noted by the author on his visit to Greece in 1895 in comparison to a visit in the times of King Otho (1832-62). It measures 8.5 inches by 6 inches.
