Сергей Николаевич Тройницкий (1882 - 1946) - известный геральдист и искусствовед, один из основателей журнала "Старые годы". Окончил в 1904 г. Императорское училище правоведения. В 1908 г. был принят на службув императорский Эрмитаж в отдел средних веков и эпохи Возрождения, с 1915 - хранитель отделения древностей Эрмитажа. В 1918 г. избран директором Государственного Эрмитажа. В мае 1927 г. освобожден от этой должности,после чего переведен в отдел прикладного искусства заведующим, где и проработал до 1931 г. Sergei Troinitsky (1882 - 1946) - famous heraldist and art critic, one of the founders of the "Old Years" magazine. Graduated in 1904 from the Imperial School of Jurisprudence. In 1908 he was employed by the Imperial Hermitage in the department of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, since 1915 - curator of the department of antiquities of the Hermitage.In 1918 he was elected director of the State Hermitage. In May 1927 he was relieved of this position, after which he was transferred to the department of applied arts as the head, where he worked until 1931. В 1918 году окончил архитектурный факультет Киевского художественного училища, занимался в Киевской Академии Художеств в мастерской М. Л. Бойчука. В 1922–1927 обучался на графическом факультете Академии Художеств в Петрограде-Ленинграде, где учился у В. М. Конашевича (1888—1963) и Д. И. Митрохина (1883—1973). Leonid Khizhinsky (1896 -1972) - Russian artist, graphic artist, engraver, illustrator.In 1918 he graduated from the architectural faculty of the Kiev Art School, studied at the Kiev Academy of Arts in the workshop of M.L. Boychuk. In 1922-1927 he studied at the graphic faculty of the Academy of Arts in Petrograd-Leningrad,where he studied with V. Konashevich (1888-1963) and D. Mitrokhin (1883-1973).
