My Disclaimer: In order to fill in items specifics, I translated the text to the best of my ability using on-line resources. I do not claim that any translation mentioned in this listing to be accurate. I’ve included photos of the title page and several interior pages so you can make your own judgement as to the language of the text and its translation. Condition: Ex-library. Volume 2 only. Call numbers on spine. Appears to be red leather covering. Cocked spine. Shaken spine. Bow to boards. Moderate to heavy wear to boards and spine. Heavy scuffing to board edges. Soiling, staining, scuffing to boards. Heavy soiling and scuffing to spine and joints. Bumps and scuffing to head, toe, corners. Edges are gilded on three sides and exhibit soiling, wear, scuffing. Waviness to pages/page block. Page block sag. Marbled pastedowns and flyleaves are soiled. Separation along front and back hinges. Library markings on front flyleaf verso. Previous owner’s name on front flyleaf verso. Ink residue of end page opposite the library markings. Borrower’s sleeve on back pastedown. The last printed page has a missing piece at the top edge due to being partially unopened (the missing piece is actually attached to the previous page). Tanning to pages with sporadic foxing. Moderate to heavy shadowing to pages throughout book. There is an unattached purple ribbon book mark included which I think was attached at one time. I didn’t notice any other defects or intrusive markings to the interior pages that would hinder readability. Please see photos for more details and to make a more accurate translation. This book was found in a basement library of a Jesuit center that has closed. Approximate book dimensions are 8.750 inches wide, 11.250 inches tall, 2 inches thick.
